I am a fully qualified joiner-carpenter, regularly working on a variety of projects such as fitting bespoke furniture and carpentry. Recently with the ever increasing need for extra space, Under stair storage drawers have become very popular and I regularly meet with customers to discuss there needs, I then take there design and make it a reality. Over the last few years I have had a large part in helping Craighead Howfs create there wonderful glamping accommodation, Including hobbit holes with round doors and windows, tree houses with an ensuite and a cruck frame cottage. However no job is to small, I quite often take on joinery repairs such as machining and fitting rotten window/door parts and sash and case window repairs.
I pride myself on treating every customer's home with care and attention, pricing each job fairly and honestly, and leaving every job spotless. These values have been instilled in me over the years and I feel they are important in order to continue being the trusted local joiner.
In 2013, my wife and I were lured by the Rocky Mountains and decided to move to Canada, where I worked for a small company creating bespoke staircases and woodwork for million dollar homes.
Since returning to Scotland and welcoming our little boy into the world, in spring 2016, I resumed running the family business. I enjoy time working in my workshop and around local towns and villages, meeting new customers.
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life
